Description

The International Financial Statistics database contains time series which summarize every availabe country's balance of payments, with accompanying data on its principal components (trade and reserves) and data on monetary expansion and contraction, government surpluses and deficits, production, prices and interest rates. Generally, annual time series begin in 1948, quarterly and monthly entries in 1957.
