Get It Service

Get It provides a seamless link between the citations you retrieve in database searches and the full-text of articles cited.

When you see the button beside a citation, simply click on the button to view a menu of options for obtaining access to the article cited.

The resulting menu will provide you with direct links to full-text articles from online journals licensed by the University of Alberta. If online full-text is not available, other options such as a link to the library catalogue to check availability of the print version of the article or a link to Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery to request articles not available in either print or online will be listed. Other options, such as a link to Tables of Contents for journal issues are also available.
