Use your prepaid University of Alberta ONEcard to operate photocopiers and printers on campus. ONEcard Automatic Deposit machines are available in most libraries and accept $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 bills. For payment by cheque, indent, debit card, or credit card, consult the ONEcard website.

Visitors can purchase a Basic ONECard at Library Service Desks or at the ONECard Office . The cost of a basic card is $5.00 ($1.00 for the card; $4.00 credit for photocopying or printing anywhere on campus). Money can be added using ONEcard Automatic Deposit machines.

Coin-op photocopiers are available in some areas. Look for the coin box affixed to the lower left hand side of the copier. Change is provided at Library Service Desks.

Photocopying Costs:

  • ONECard copying: 12 cents per page
  • Coin-op copying: 15 cents per page
  • Microfiche/Microfilm/Micro-opaque copying: 15 cents per page

Library photocopiers provide black and white copying only.

Colour printing is available in the Knowledge Common (Lower level, Cameron Library)
Colour printing from an electronic file (via computer) is available at the OneCard Printer. Prints only documents saved as a PDF file.

Bibliothèque St. Jean

HT Coutts Education Library

  • Photocopiers: In the Curriculum Library (basement of library), adjacent to washrooms.
  • Coin-Op Photocopiers: Yes -- coin box sits on floor, left side of printer at far end of room.
  • Microfiche/Film Copiers: In preview area of the Curriculum Library (basement of Education Library)
  • ONEcard Automatic Deposit Machine: Main floor next to the ONEcard printer.
  • Other copying equipment: Microfiche scanner/printer. Scanner is available in the preview area of the Curriculum Library and it also prints to an adjacent laser printer.
  • Colour copying is available in Education North B111 - Instructional Resource Services
  • Colour printing from an electronic file (via computer) is available at the ONEcard printer, main floor.

John A. Weir Law Library
