  This index contains citations that point to over 15 million biographies on nearly 5 million people, living and deceased, from all time periods, geographical locations, and fields of endeavor.

   

• Biography Resource Center
  
  Contains biographies, related full text articles from hundreds of periodicals, plus thousands of images and links to web sites. Search for people (current and historic) by name, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, birth/death dates and places, or gender, as well as keyword and full text.

   

• Dictionary of Canadian Biography
  
  The DCB/DBC is a chronological collection of authoritative biographies of people who have played a significant role in what is now Canada, including persons (none still living) from across the country and representing a wide range of professions and occupations.   Web mapping service provided by Google, including detailed maps and satellite images for a number of countries. Specific features available depend on location queried.

   

• William C. Wonders Map Collection Database
  
  Electronic index to the pre-1995 maps in the William C. Wonders Map Collection located at the University of Alberta's Cameron Library. For other maps in the University of Alberta Library's collection, search the NEOS Catalogue Advanced Search mode … enter your search terms in the upper area, and then select MAPS as a format type in the lower section.
