An Exhibition celebrating a conference hosted by the Medieval & Early Modern Institute, Faculty of Arts.
| This unusual exhibition, curated by Dr. John Considine, Department of English, traces the interaction of readers and their 16th century books. From evidence of how books were shelved and stored, to owners' signatures, to marginal comment and correction, even to children's doodles, the possession of books clearly meant a great deal to such readers. All books are from the Bruce Peel Special Collections Library. |
