HKN is available to students and staff at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary at no charge. After you graduate, you can continuing accessing the resources you've been taught to use. Access is made available through HKN's many institutional subscribers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Territories or through individual subscription fees.
